Pounding Heart - Esher

Not a place for fine dining. The food will simply soak up the alcohol! This is essentially a cocktail bar cocktails are good not a a place for a quiet meal. Music is great and the vibe at the front of the bar is lively. My advice is, eat elsewhere and then pop in for cocktails.

Ordered champagne did not arrive had to go to the bar and ask. Food was cold not much flavour for indo Chinese, the pani puri were not good at all the water had no taste. The whole evening the service was not good except one girl with dark hair who was running around to do her best to help and do her job. Will not be visiting again.

The food was really lovely. The staff were very attentive. The cocktails were lovely. Not the cheapest place To eat but certainly go here for a treat

Waitress was clueless; didn 't know the menu and had to return three times to check what we 'd ordered because she couldn 't read her own handwriting. When the food arrived it was very, very salty sticky and laden with cheap 'fillers ' like chunks of onion and Green pepper. Nothing subtle or thoughtful in any of the dishes we ordered and nothing worth returning for. The manager did remove the food from the bill and was apologetic, but that never compensates for a poor experience.
