Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

UPDATE: I’ve updated my review to 4-stars because of the highly responsive General Manager and his engagement with his staff to improve customer service. As i mentioned below, my experience with the food and custard at Freddy’s is excellent! Food is good especially the custard. However their staff routinely loose track of orders. You can be waiting 10-20 minutes and never get your food. When you ask, they admit they lost it and make it for you. This has happened several times to me. This also happened to several people in front of me. Quite a disorganized restaurant.

I got the original Freddy double, which was quite good. I ordered the meal, and upgraded the fries to the cheese curds. They were pretty good, but a $2 upcharge. I liked the fries too, they were thin and crispy. Their signature sauces weren't anything special in my opinion. Overall it was a decent value for some above average fast food (Note I moved the bun in the pic to showcase the toppings)

My husband and I drive well out of our way to come eat here from out of town. We love it! Food is always cooked fresh, the manager is usually there and you can tell that he and the staff take a lot of pride in the restaurant and are always friendly. I've never had a bad experience in the two years we've been going!

Food was great. Dining room was kind of a mess but acceptable. Service was also acceptable but they lost track of my frozen custard order because they were so busy. Manager caught the mistake because he noticed I was waiting for a long time. Overall, we were happy we made the detour for dinner on our road trip.

We arrived right as the place opened and were greeted, and treated, with kindness and respect. The food as always was top notch with generous, hot and fresh portions and ingredients. This is my favorite fast food place and easily the best in Espanola.
