Great location overlooking the beach front Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was basic, but tasty enough.

This place was pretty good. I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews and reckon some of them are unfairly warranted. It's a pub & more than lives up to its obligations of serving a nice steak (cooked perfectly) with a decent tap beer. Wood fired pizza oven, staff were friendly & the atmosphere was great. The 11 year old rated her spag bol a 7/10, which is pretty good. She's a tough critic & always compares her spag bol to her Dad's (which is the best in history)!! Steak was cooked really well & we couldn't fault any of the other meals. I would definitely be making this a staple if I lived here.

We arrived for lunch at approximately 1340 and when we went to the bar to order a wine were asked if we intended having lunch. When I said we did I was told we must order quickly as the kitchen was due to close.After a couple of minutes I went back to the kitchen counter to order and was asked by two separate people to wait and they would be back. A third person finally took my order.Meals are ordered and paid for at the kitchen counter and meals are delivered to your table. Drinks are ordered, paid for and picked up from the bar.They have a reasonable pub menu but while good for me, the size of the $23 Lasagna would be considered as an average entree by a working man.The wine list is modest.Apart from looking over the car park, the view over the harbour is great.

Pub food should be cheap, quick and tasty. Failed on all fronts here. Expensive, slow service and tasteless. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

We ate here on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. We didn't have a reservation but there were spare tables. We found one that wasn't so close to the bar and it was much easier to converse....abit noisy around the bar area as there were quite a few people there.My lamb rump on mash was delicious and a huge meal. Other vegetables and salad available from the salad bar. Probably abit on the pricey side for a pub but it was very nice.
