Il Capriccio - Essen

Last Sunday we went for a quick lunch to Il Capriccio.... We ordered some Pasta and my Dad wanted the lamb ( Menu) After 2 hours my dad ( 90 years old )asked the waiter if he is getting the food in Italia ...... the waiter answered no in Russia... very rude... Since we had a flight to catch I asked the waiter if it would take much longer ....he promised another 10 minutes and exactly in 10 minutes the food arrived... Surprise no lamb... but fish... that was the last time I have seen the bold headed waiter.... We paid our bill including the food at the bar and left....

We have been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years. Same family run restaurant, same quality of food, same high standard of service. Always a genuine welcome. The food is excellent. Always busy which shows the high regard the local clientele have to the restaurant. Long may it continue.

Not only good pizzas but also delicious meat dishes, zb lamb. price io (4 people 45 euro).

The restaurant I find very good, the menu has everything a normal Italian offers. the waiters were very attentive and the food was quickly brought to the table and was very pleasant. at my next stay in will the restaurant for me again is an alternative.

Have eaten penne with filet strips in pernaudsauce, tasty! the versatile day card is definitely worth a bick, is in the right part in the back of the wall! the dishes of the time card are rather standard without surprise. the portion of the penne could have been bigger, but price/performance fits every brook. my children have the giant ice cream with 4 balls and did not see it. the chardonnay was also in order, and my son was also brought to play. service on zack and very friendly. we're coming back!
