Main Street Diner - Essex

We had high expectation based on the yelp reviews but were deeply disappointed.

Based on the reviews, I probably would have loved this place but it's not open on Mondays_Had to settle for a subpar Egg McMuffin down the street.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was excellent.

After my partner had a procedure at the clinic in Essex, we decided to satisfy his hunger at Main Street Diner. We had previously stopped by and had a positive experience with good service and delicious, hot food, so we decided to give it another try. Our breakfast was enjoyable, with great service, delicious hot food, and very fresh coffee.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, my partner and I decided to dine at our favorite restaurant on Main Street in the Grund once a week. We have a special appreciation for the owner, Angela, and their server who have provided us with many delicious meals over the years. This restaurant is always bustling with locals and tourists alike, catering to families, children, seniors, young adults, and couples. The brunch experience is unbeatable, but be prepared to wait for a table on Sundays. The food is always delicious, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. Whether you're craving breakfast at any hour or a late lunch, this place has you covered. We consider the staff here as good friends, and we can't wait to return for coffee and eggs Benedict as soon as we can.
