Ck Pearl - Essex

Located near the water, which is a nice touch. The gentle current gave the sensation of floating down a river. The food, however, was just okay, nothing particularly outstanding.

The food is consistently of high quality and the service is always excellent.

We had a reservation and were seated after a very short wait while our table was cleaned. The place was packed and we were in the back corner near the restrooms. Our service was very slow to start (20 min to get drinks) but waiter was great overall. Tables are close together and we were seated next to a very loud table. It was tough not to hear all of their conversation and even our 18 yo had trouble hearing us over the noise. As the resturant cleared out, volume was better. We love the food here and recommend it highly as a great spot for casual dining, but be prepared if full for the noise.

Amazing oysters and delicious martinis. Fantastic wait staff. A memorable evening for all!
