Bidra med feedbackI had the worst Korean BBQ experience I've ever encountered at this restaurant. The food was neither good nor traditional compared to other places. If you're in Eugene, I recommend going to KKOKI instead. The meat we received was gritty and tasted like it was old. We only cooked two out of the four meats and then decided to ask for our check. To my surprise, the server asked if we enjoyed our meal, and we shared our honest feedback about what we didn't like, including the poor quality of the meat. However, he returned with the full check without any adjustments. I felt like I wasted $60, but at least I might have avoided food poisoning. They don’t oil their grill and don’t provide any vegetables with the all-you-can-eat option. The traditional side dishes are lacking, and they charge extra if you want more than two servings. The only vegetable options were four pieces of broccoli and about a quarter cup of bean sprouts.
This is my favorite restaurant in Eugene! The meats are incredibly delicious and pair perfectly with the sauces. I'm especially fond of the brisket and lamb. The entrées are outstanding as well. My top picks include the spicy squid and mackerel. You definitely can't miss the LA Galbi (short ribs) – it’s a must-try. The portions are generous, and you’ll leave feeling very satisfied! The service is excellent, too. The staff is always very friendly and quick to assist with anything we need. Whether you're in the mood for BBQ or just want an entrée, this place is the real deal. I've been to many Korean BBQs across the US and Canada, and this one stands out as one of my favorites. We’re really fortunate to have such a great spot right here in Eugene!
We ordered the BBQ, and I thoroughly enjoyed the curry pork belly and the lamb. However, I wished the lamb had been sliced thinner, like the brisket. The pork belly had a great balance of meat and fat. The banchan and dipping sauces were excellent. There were a few times when it was difficult to get the host's attention for another round, but I understand that it can be busy.
I love it here and we come regularly, I was pretty frustrated by my trip in tonight. My small party of 3 went to celebrate graduation and Father’s Day, and we’re seated right next to the only other patrons. We politely asked to be reseated as wewould like some privacy for dinner, and were told all other tables were being saved in case bigger groups came in. Before weeven ordered two people were seated at the exact table we asked for. Talk about absolutely irritating for a sit down familydinner.
Bul Go Ki. I've tried it four times, and three of those experiences were stellar—I'd rate them four stars. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. Despite that, I still recommend it overall.
