Party Market Wine - Eugene

The food was outstanding every time we visited. I completely forgot to take pictures of our dinner, haha! But here’s a shot of the dessert: the donuts with lemon curd and raspberries, along with a mini cheesecake.

We enjoyed the tasting menu paired with wine, and it was a delightful experience. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It was a sophisticated celebration of local, seasonal, and organic ingredients, making it a memorable farewell to the culinary scene.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant, which is a shame because I had been looking forward to it for quite some time. My partner and I made reservations for the chef's selection, expecting to enjoy a nice tasting menu and be seated at a decent table. Instead, we were led directly to the entrance, and it took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us after we were seated. It was another 40 minutes before we received our first drinks. I understand that they were busy, but it was frustrating to see larger tables being attended to while we waited. Our reservation was for 7 PM, and by 10 PM, after we finally finished dessert, we still felt neglected. The food itself was good, but the service was simply unacceptable for $50 per person. A slice of cheesecake as a dessert? Seriously? I’m truly disappointed, and I likely won't return. There are too many great restaurants in Eugene to risk having such a poor experience again.

I can't say enough good things about Party Downtown (and all party facilities). Your food is exceptional. Your staff is friendly, accommodating and really takes care of the community. Your cocktails are from this world. I really appreciate how everything they do is thoughtful, well done, and especially, DELICIOUS. We recently ordered a seafood plate to celebrate our anniversary and it was undoubtedly the best meal I ever had in my whole life. Every single aspect was delicious, every single penny worth. Not a junk when we were done. I am as impressed as how well they have adapted to work in a pandemic. When we mixed up with them, they are clear with safety precautions and go beyond and beyond to make you feel safe and well maintained. When we ordered things, everything was well packed and well kept to transport. Simply put, PARTY is the best.

Let me start by saying it is a fun experience. It is fun to not know what you will taste next. It would have been way more fun if the food was enjoyable and didn't leave us literally puking. They accommodated me because I don't eat pork. The food was bland or just straight fishy tasting. The best things were the things they gave us off the bar menu. I do not recommend. The server was nice a did a great job. I have posted all the dishes we got.
