Oscar's - EUREKA SPRINGS

My wife and I always love looking for new places to eat and we decided to stop here for breakfast on our way to Branson. I have been to Eureka Springs many times but had never seen this place before. We love waffles and after reading the great reviews westopped in here on Saturday morning. We both ordered a waffle and also an order of biscuits and gravy. The place was very quaintand we loved the atmosphere. The people were friendly that took our order. It took longer than we expected to get a couplewaffles when there was only a couple tables of people at the time. But it wasn't too long. We were excited to try theseNorwegian waffles as we are looking to actually go to Norway in the near future. Unfortunately I think they sat on the counterfor a while before they brought them out because they were practically cold when we got them. The flavor was pretty good butnothing amazing but being cold and rubbery in texture we did not really care for them. We asked for the bacon to be extra crispyand man did they make it extra crispy. Usually we say that and it's still not crispy enough but it was pretty much bacon bitscrispy. The biscuits and gravy was the star of the show. They had great homemade biscuits with sausage gravy and that wasdefinitely delicious. I feel like the price was pretty high for how small and thin the waffles are and just two strips of bacon.Should at least get three strips for the price. Overall a decent experience but not good enough to make me want to go backunfortunately.

I ordered the Soup Salad , the soup was butternut squash( daily special rosemary, salad was the avocado . Delicious, fresh daily , including fresh roasted coffee ! Desert last , was the Chocolate Avocado Pie ! Kearia was working the day I stopped in, let me tell y?all she is on her game , service was excellent, friendly, polite and actually answered my questions with a smile!

Chose this place based off reviews, and my husband and I were not disappointed!! The staff is very kind and we got our food quickly. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. A sweet young kid (assuming their guardian works there) greeted us as we walkedin, and gave us these adorable little notes! A must stop!!
