Bidra med feedbackGreat place for breakfast with the crew on our last day to the north. Eureka is a beautiful city that is only of the beautiful people and the tireless cooking of a cook YOU SHOULD TIP 20 BUCKS AT LEAST EVERY TIME YOU VISIT. Delicious food, nice staff and there is a museum in the restaurant while you wait. Can't say enough how much you should visit when in the area. Look at 40 ounces to Funny Comedy and let us know where you eat when in your city.
An old logger's cookhouse that's been converted into an eatery, features a very limited menu and quick service. The staff here are hard working and very nice, so be sure to have some patience with them. I came in for breakfast and the food was great! If you want seconds or thirds, they are more than happy to accommodate. Be sure to buy a loaf of their bread (made in-house) and check out the museum featuring all sorts of turn-of-the-century artifacts from the building's past.
Cool drive to get there. Amazing old eatery, the history is awesome. Lumberjack style, they bring you food and you eat. We got a hearty soup, delicious salad, three bean salad, Amazing bread, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttery corn, red velvet cake. So much food. Cool museum.
Great ambiance, feel of history… amazing staff , that’s the first impression.. the food was tasty as of home , nothing more nothing less , nothing fancy whatsoever. We went for a late breakfast, it was almost lunch time , but the kind lady chef prepared breakfast for us . Their biscuits and gravy is a must try . The scrambled egg was heavenly, sausages were perfect cooked , toasts were delicious. Buy their homemade bread . The staff who served us was so amazing and friendly. We felt like home we were the only customers at that time so they were able to take care of us . Please be ready to wait to get food , as it’s made fresh ..
Cool lil place. Different style of serving. They bring it out to you only one meal is served. We had pot roast, rice with gravy, peas, and soup or salad. You get to pick between soup or salad but that is the only choice you make. So if you have picky eaters this is not the place. They don't bring a lot out at a time and get in no hurry to bring more. But you can eat till you can't eat any more. The food was good tho! The ranch dressing was amazing. Lots of cool stuff in the side room!
