Spicy and delicious! The plantains were perfectly caramelized. Limited seating so we got ours for takeout. Local family run joint that has been around for 18 years.

Best Jamaican (Caribbean) restaurant in Chicago. Very authentic place. Come for the food, ignore the loud music and patrons. Limited seating, I sat for 45 minutes left alone to eat and observe. One Love!

This was the best thing I've had to eat anywhere. My first time here was today. I got the Brown Stewed Chicken... Amazing. It had a spicy and sweet taste to it. The curried cabbage and fried plantains were to die for and the rice!! No words can explain the magic that happen when I put the rice in my mouth. Thank you Claire for your hospitality. I will be back!!

Such a gem in Evanston! The ox tail and jerk chicken were both amazing flavor and juicy. The sides which includes rice, plantains were all so good that I would order it separately as a dish. The portions are also huge and fulfilling, I can easily have some left overs from one combination. There is limited seating in the restaurant (about 3 tables) so I would plan on getting the food to go it’s also perfect for reheating up at home.

First time visit. It's a store front, but the food is delicious and authentic. I had brown stew chicken, curry goat, beef patty, and plaintains. I will return if I am in the area.
