Bidra med feedbackThe hotel is lovely but what makes it great is the incredible staff. The staff is hard working, efficient and so friendly. As someone that travels a lot it was nice to experience such good service as it isn’t always the case in recent years. The rooms are large and well appointed. The bathroom was bright with lots of extra touches. The casino is well decorated and plenty of table games. I recommend a stay at this hotel.
Set aside the surrounding area this hotel/casino was a top tier property. Room comfort excellent which was enhanced by state of the art electronics. Over sized bathroom with all the amenities and a nice view of the city and distant hills. Only deterrent was a wind mill right at eye level. The cost of progress. Service outstanding from check in to room service and valet. Do bring your wallet you get what you pay for.
Go any time of the day of night, any day of the week and stay for hours at any slot machine. Then go home and get a second mortgage on your home to pay for what that trip cost you. There is simply no winning at Encore Boston Harbor. With an extraordinary tax rate and enormous expenses to maintain the most elaborate gambling facility this side of Las Vegas, they cannot afford to pay customers a fair return on their bets and there is a serious question as to whether they are being properly regulated to return the percentage of handle required by Massachusetts law. If you gamble regularly and play slots you get to know the behavior of the machines over time and can tell when an adjustment has been made. In my most recent visit on a free gift day where the casino was providing Chromebooks to customers with records of higher gaming expenditures, it only took 20 minutes to blow through $250 with a max bet of $1.50 per spin on the rising 7 's Quick Hit machines. The usual suck-down rate was about $200 an hour, up from $100 a year ago. But the most disturbing thing was that there was not one free spin during the entire game, making the play boring and depressing. If you like wasting money this way, Wynn Encore is your place. But there are better options that should be sought. BTW, Encore was so certain their influence would result in Sports betting being passed in the state, that management ripped out their expensive buffet space and converted it to a multi-million dollar sports venue. A good bet for them and a bad one for unsuspecting patrons thinking they will get a fair shake. The hotel is fine, but for the price, you could be in Rome overlooking the Spanish Steps.
Far and away the best hotel deal in Boston; especially awesome for those who choose not to gamble! Newest and largest rooms in Boston clock in at 650 sq ft for a beautifully appointed standard king room sometimes available for under $400.00. Half a dozen outstanding dining options on site including Asian, Italian, Steak house, and Deli. 10 minute Uber to Boston Gardens, outstanding housekeeping, room service, valet, etc.
Fun Hotel, with a huge wonderful comfortable room over looking the harbour, with a big bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful as you’d expect from The Encore However when you stay midweek half of the restaurant and bars are shut which is such a shame and made it a ‘very good’ stay, but not ‘excellent’. Would love to go back, but would make sure it was over a weekend.
