Obviously August is off season but it looked like I had a brand new plate when I finished my country fried steak and eggs over easy. Grits and rye toast. Very good breakfast!
Coming home from Key West we decided to spend a couple of days exploring the Everglades. Came to Everglades City on a whim. Didn’t realize how close it is to 41. Found this wonderful Cafe, Island Cafe, for lunch. I’ve been needing some good comfort food and this place hit the spot. Iced tea, country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a biscuit. So good. I left full and happy.
