Switchback Smokehouse - Evergreen

I love bbq places and go to them often. This is some of the best bbq I've had in CO. The ribs and bacon are to die for and the pulled pork is good as well. The standard bbq sauce was my favorite. The type of brisket they make here didn't work for us however. For the sides we like the potato salad and the seasonal veggies (the roasted asparagus) the best.Every time I'm hiking in the area I will definitely be stopping here afterwards. And I want to try the duck and salmon as well...Note that we were there during the day on a weekday so we didn't run into any issues of menu items being sold out which I see has happened in other reviews which would not be good especially if you're not local.

Our favorite restaurant in the front range! Everything on the menu is delicious. The ice cream shack next door in the summer makes it extra awesome.

I was going to eat somewhere else, but caught a whiff of the place as I was passing it and knew I had to turn around and stop. Sooo good, and the people there are so very nice!

We had a family of seven order ala cart. Plenty of food a pound of pork, two chicken legs and a chicken breast. Eight buns and macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Everything tasted fabulous. All four BBQ sauces were very good. We sat outside by the stream in 52 degrees with the sun shining. It was a perfect lunch on our way to see some sights.

I had the duck duck goat salad and it was absolutely fantastic! The quality of every ingredient was Primo and the flavor blend was wonderful. I got the dressing that came with it although I don't know what the name of that dressing was, but it was absolutely perfect for the dish. It's a very casual atmosphere place with both indoor and outdoor seating right by what I think must be Bear Creek. Absolutely lovely setting. Rustic casual dining experience with food that is over the top good!
