Bidra med feedbackOn the morning of October 16th, we visited this Costa branch. We had to clean a spot for ourselves to sit as tables were piled with dirty dishes and utensils waiting to be cleared. Once seated, one of us stayed while the other went to the counter to order. Despite there being four staff members, including the manager, it was chaotic with one staff member preparing drinks while others piled up more orders. It took over ten minutes to be served, almost prompting us to leave. Finally, our two flat whites, priced at £3.50 each, were ready and well-made. However, the rest of the experience was disorganized. As we left, the tables remained dirty and not cleared.
On Tuesday, June 13th, my party and I visited this restaurant for lunch. Located in the Rydon Lane Retail Park, this bright and modern establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. Despite the beautiful sunshine, we opted to dine inside for a cooler experience. Choosing from a well-stocked fridge, we selected a ham coleslaw sandwich priced at £3.50 and a BLT sandwich at £4.95 from the Marks and Spencer range. After picking out our food, we made our way to the counter to order drinks and pay. We ordered two flat whites, priced at £3.35 each. Thanks to accumulated reward points, one of the coffees was complimentary. The staff member, Ellie, who assisted us was friendly and helpful, providing us with plates, cutlery, and even arranging for the free coffee. Both the flavorsome coffee and the tasty, fresh sandwiches were served by friendly and efficient staff in a clean and well-maintained environment. Overall, a great dining experience.
Would NOT recommend wasting your money here…staff are useless and ignorant, received my coffee, may as-well have ordered a cup of milk, didn’t bother taking it back as they take about half an hour to make one small coffee…
Whilst out walking my dog stopped at Costa Coffee at EXE Vale My coffee as always was exceptional and served perfectly The staff were all pleasant and helpful This remains my favourite Costa Thank you
We visited this costa today and were told they had no tables available and would we be happy with take away. We had hoped to eat in but can understand the restrictions with capacity due to the current pandemic. We Ordered our drinks to take away and decided to leave the food due to this, I paid whilst my mum used the facilities, when She came back I took my baby to use the facilities whilst my mum waited with the drinks. Since we had just been told they were full I didn’t then expect to find a family of 4 offered a table and a couple who clearly knew the staff. As I left I mentioned this to the staff member who then lied and said the family had been waiting, my mum had been stood there listening when both tables entered, at least if you going to lie be good at it. My complaint was met with a rude bad mannered response and leaves me to add these staff should not be dealing with customers and maybe stockroom jobs would be better. Manners cost nothing and liars are bad for business. What a dreadful experience and using covid as an excuse is disgusting. Shame on you!! People have been very poorly/lost lives/family and you are using this to avoid being caught up in your own lies. I will be leaving this review on other platforms, and hopefully if it means one person avoids this establishment then that is helpful. YOU HAVE GIVEN COSTA A BAD NAME AND BEEN CAUGHT OUT LYING IN A TIME WHEN PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO HELP BUSINESSES. SHAME ON YOU!
