Ming Wah Takeaway - Exeter

Unfortunately, I have to say that I feel this takeaway restaurant has declined in quality. I'm not sure if there has been a change in ownership, chef, or both. I used to frequent this place before moving, and I was unsure if they would deliver to our new location. To my surprise, they did, so I was excited to place an order. However, I was disappointed to find that the house special fried rice only had two prawns in the entire tray, which was smaller than before. The duck with mushrooms had more mushrooms than duck, and the duck itself was in small, chewy pieces. The chicken balls were overly greasy and inedible. I understand that times are changing and prices are increasing, but that is no excuse for serving poor quality food. Sadly, I will not be ordering from here again.

No screens, no masks, no social distancing or ventilation. Expect to be kept waiting in confined space even after ordering online and waiting 20 mins appointed pick up time. We would not return due to disregard of covid rules and risk to public health.

I was going to get dinner yesterday evening and ended up in posloe bridge and all the other take always were closed . I ended up going in Mingwah. On entering the staff and drivers were eating from the same plate on the worktop counter …. Is this aloud. I should have walked out then . I Ordered my food which took 3 minutes as it was already cooked and resting in a warm plate. I should have definitely walked away then. Got home and through the food in the bin … absolute ****… dont eat here. I will never go in their again. It should be closed down and I used to use it all the time.

Delicious food. We order from here regularly, and are never dissapointed at the quality and taste of the food. My favouroute is Duck Chow Mein a lot of taste and a good amount of meat. Good value. Would recommend it to anyone, and would drive miles to get there!
