Frozensation - Fairbanks

I waited an eternity just to place an order for a smoothie, and despite being there in person, they prioritized DoorDash orders instead. It seems like if you want to get a smoothie here, your best bet is to use DoorDash rather than being a walk-in customer. It's quite frustrating.

The drink was decent, but I paid for boba and didn’t receive any, which is a bit frustrating given that the drink cost nearly $9. Additionally, the shop doesn’t have a phone number to reach out for assistance.

On a Friday evening around 7:00 PM, we found ourselves on the hunt for dessert. Most places we checked on Yelp were either closed or about to close, but fortunately, we discovered a dessert shop inside the Shoppers Forum Mall in Fairbanks that was still open for another 30 minutes, until 7:30 PM. I decided to try the Mango Shaved Snow, while my husband opted for an avocado smoothie. The presentation of the shaved snow could use some improvement, but overall, it was quite enjoyable. The mango was served in large pieces and accompanied by mango popping boba on one side, which added a fun touch. The owner was friendly, and the service was good—we were met with a warm welcome as we settled in. The shop is conveniently located across from a Brazilian jiu-jitsu class, so we found a nearby table to enjoy our desserts. As for the mall itself, I have to say it doesn't measure up, being worse than the Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights (for those in Sacramento, you know what I mean). Love to get boba here, plus the punch card is an incentive to keep coming back as well.
