Bidra med feedbackWhen we visited Lavelles, we weren't very hungry, so we opted for just a few appetizers and a dessert. We shared the calamari, the Lavelles salad, and the Ahi, which proved to be the perfect amount of food—enough to satisfy us without making us feel stuffed. We still had room for dessert, so we ordered the banana bread pudding. I also want to mention that our waiter was outstanding, making our experience even better. And the bread was exquisite!
We ordered fish, expecting it to be fresh and well-prepared, but unfortunately, the halibut and especially the salmon were overcooked. While the flavors were okay, the dryness of the fish was quite disappointing. The margarita tasted like it came from a mix and was overly salty. We ended up leaving feeling unsatisfied. The soup and salad were decent, though.
I've heard countless wonderful reviews about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. I'm absolutely in love! The chefs really know how to create amazing flavors! We ordered crab, chicken champignon, and steak, and each dish was fantastic! The steak was especially delicious! The Caesar salad was the best I've ever had! The desserts were phenomenal as well. The food truly made our hearts happy! As I’m nine months pregnant, I wasn’t very comfortable at our table, but when we asked to be moved, they happily accommodated us despite the busy night. We will definitely be returning to Lavelle!
Our first night in Alaska we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious. The halibut was so fresh and fluffy. We have the appetizer version and it was plentiful. We also tried the artichokes and crab dives. It was so good that it didn't take a photo! The French onion was rich and tasteful. My son liked his beef tips and my daughter gave the Mac and cheese 8/10. Overall we enjoyed our meals.
Promptly seated at our reservation time. Service was very good. Food was decent, need to keep it hot when serving.
