The Banks Alehouse - Fairbanks

The food was outstanding. Without a doubt, the best fried pickles I've ever tasted. The drinks were fantastic, especially since the ones I chose weren't even on the menu. Overall, it was a quick and wonderful experience!

I traveled from Virginia to visit a friend and we decided to have lunch around 3:30 PM on Saturday, August 5th. Our waitress, Ava, was an absolute delight and truly made our day enjoyable. However, the manager who was assisting with our table treated Ava terribly. Despite her doing an outstanding job, she was subjected to disrespectful behavior that no employee deserves. I sincerely hope that this manager is let go immediately. He completely ruined our experience. As a CEO of a well-known company myself, I would never tolerate such treatment of my staff. It's time to FIRE CHRIS!

We also tried the ultimate nachos, which I would rate a 2/10. We were quite disappointed by the severe lack of cheese. It mainly consisted of chips and lettuce, topped with a sparse layer of cheese. On a positive note, the pizza was great—definitely a highlight. I want to give a shoutout to Thomas; he was thoughtful and attentive. If we were to return, it would be solely because of him. Otherwise, the food (excluding the pizza) was pretty terrible, and the atmosphere was rather dull. Overall, I would rate our experience a 3/10.

The food is incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The servers are friendly, making it a fun and inviting place for families, complete with a bar. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

I waited nearly two hours for food that was just okay. They served the pizza on dirty plates, although they did offer us a discount. The service was lacking, but the food was good. I would recommend this place for lunch, but not really for dinner since it was quite crowded. For vegetarians, there are salad options available.
