Bidra med feedbackAlthough there is aspekte of japanese, this restaurant, in my opinion, is much more Chinese style. the sashimi and sushi is very well presented, but the fried rice used canses or frozen vegetables. the personal seemed quite attentive and tried to take unfinished plates. it seemed very popular with many employees. green tea is very beautiful.
We visit Melbourne every year and make sure to dine at this restaurant each time. We have never been let down. We always order the amazing Sushi/Sashimi platter to share, followed by a main course. The service and food quality are consistently excellent. Highly recommended.
We had dinner here last night on a busy Saturday, the place was packed and we had a booking. the personal is friendly and extremely efficient; the service was excellent. the menu is extensive and I had a difficult time to make a choice. we all started with...Gyoza and these were big, juicy dumplings. best ever. for the main course, I ordered teriyaki huhn with steamed rice, others at the table selected meeresce teppanyaki, lachs hotpot and moriwase. the portions are very generous and we were all very full. the presentation of food is attraktiw and the restaurant is byo, (an additional bonus). whenever we visit my sister and his wife in fairfield, they take us here and we always have a pleasant meal; we love Japanese food. the cost is about $50 per person.
Located at the northern end of Station Road, there is a restaurant that I have been passing by for years but finally tried for the first time a few days ago. I must say, all of our meals were excellent. The food was so good that I have decided to return for dinner tonight with my children. An added bonus is that if you go before 6:15 pm, you can enjoy a 20% discount.
Been going to Matsuya for years the food and general feel of the place has improved hugely. Sushi and sashimi is what they do best, along with pretty good tempura and agedashi tofu. Some of the other hot dishes are not brilliant this...is not the place to come to if you’re looking for really great teppanyaki or yakisoba.
