Jim Dandy's - Fairfield

We dined at this restaurant four times. The staff were friendly but consistently overcooked the pizza crust. We ordered three pizzas on two separate occasions and were informed it would take 2 hours each time.

After spending the day cutting wood with my family, I called in a to-go order at a restaurant down the hill. The wait time was estimated at 25 minutes, which was reasonable. I ordered 7 pizzas around 7:30 pm. However, I was informed in a somewhat rude manner that it would take 2 hours for the pizzas to be ready. I questioned the seriousness of the wait time, but was told that if I wanted the pizzas, I would have to wait 2 hours. Being someone with experience in the pizza restaurant industry due to my family's ownership of a pizza restaurant in another city, I was taken aback by the poor customer service. This experience made me reconsider giving my business to this restaurant, as they clearly need to work on improving their customer service, especially in a small city community.

One of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. I highly recommend it.

A lovely place that doesn?t pretend to be anything other than it is. The staff cared about the quality of our experience from the food all the way through every aspect of our visit. Overall a great detour to travelers looking for something other than fast food.

Great food and a friendly, helpful staff. I really liked the blend of modern and old construction in the place as well. The kids also loved it.
