Farside Inn Pub and Eatery

I skipped my favourite black and blue burger here, which is my usual order, and tried the mob pizza instead. Very good. Now I have 2 favourites to order at Far Side. Good service. Relaxed atmosphere.

Went for Wednesday wing night tonight. Not a great deal at $8.50 for 10 wings. Ordered salt and pepper wings and they came to our table very dark, moderately burnt with no salt or pepper on them at all. I complained to the waitress who said they would remake them. She then came back saying that the cooks were saying that's how they come. I reiterated that they were overdone and had no seasoning on them whatsoever, so the kitchen did remake the wings. They came out dark again, but at least had seasoning on them the second time round. We had a dozen wings left over, so I asked for a takeout container and was told they don't provide those on wing nights due to the promotion. We will not be returning.

Went for birthday went out of their way to accommodate us and look after us had a good time girls were fun and easy going food average

Food was good, but experience was spoiled by inattentive server who appeared to be distinctly unhappy to work there. Spent most of her time chatting to people at the bar she knew, and customers had to wait for their turn.

Great pub food with a nice local vibe. If you are looking for a good place to stop for a beer and a bite after an active day in the mountains, this is the place.
