Five Guys - Fairview Heights

I ordered a small double cheeseburger and a small Cajun fry, but I couldn't finish everything. The fries had a great flavor with just the right amount of spice. The burger was cooked to perfection. They only offer takeout or delivery, so be sure to place your order in advance. You need to pull up to the back, and they'll bring your food out to you. My meal was ready in just five minutes, which was fantastic. I'm visiting town and feeling pretty worn out from working all day; this meal was a refreshing treat! Thank you, Five Guys!

I saw her sign on the Interstate. This restaurant was so courteous. I asked that my frits cooked well, BTW get a little people... They give you sooo much. But the Cajun-Fries are amazing!!!! I wish they had onion rings.... ok back to the Burger though. HUGE... double monster can't fit in my mouth, but the hell I'll get it in there! Very good. Yeah, it was expensive, BUT man the best burger around.

I really enjoyed the food; they excel in a few specific dishes! However, I encountered some issues during my visit. The restaurant had a significant leak in the ceiling, resulting in water splashing onto the floor, which you can see in my photo. While I understand that loud music is part of the restaurant's vibe, it was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. Additionally, the peanuts served were stale. One thing I personally find frustrating is the soda fountain machines—the syrup and soda water mix isn't great, and the numerous flavor options don't compensate for the poor taste. Moreover, the touchscreen interface can be overwhelming for older patrons, causing delays for everyone. I love Five Guys, but this visit was disappointing.

The burgers were delicious, had all toppings we requested. Easy order by Active Menus.

Don't bother with the grilled cheese. As always the burger and fries were spot on. Recently on the try channel on YouTube I watched Irish folk try 5 guys, and they had the grilled cheese. They all loved it, so I thought I would give it a try. It had a slightly odd taste, and for how much it was grilled the cheese was barely melted. So in my opinion, stick with the great burgers.
