Zapata's - Fairview Heights

My sisters and I are regular guests here and we love this place. Good food, great drinks and stellar service. Javier (our ordinary waiter) does an amazing job, even if the restaurant is ridiculously understated.

The staff was friendly and we were seated right away. Our server was fantastic. Being new to the area and never have been here before we asked for suggestions on what to order . He said the Baja chimichanga was on special and it was one of his favorites. So my fiance and I both ordered that. It was really good. A little spicy for my liking but still great. I also ordered the medium margarita which was also on special for $8 and it was also great. There was a man singing live music on the other side of the restaurant by the bar which was cool. The only negative thing I can think of was the group at the bar, which was on the opposite side of the restaurant where we were seated, were extremely loud and rowdy. Their noise echoed throughout the restaurant. I will definitely be returning, it was a great experience.

Love coming here! Food is good, employees are hospitable, and the restaurant is clean! Will definitely be back for the pina colada!

The staff here were extremely nice. The cali margaritas was delicious the food was great and we were served in a timely fashion. Thank you all for a great family time

Great food and service on a relaxed patio mid week. wish i knew my waitress's name cause she's doing an amazing Job!
