Staying across the road at the holiday park & reading the reviews wasn't expecting much. Wow what a great surprise, great location with a play area for my kids. Superb fresh super tasty meals & lightning fast service. Not sure where the other reviewers went. Will be making regular beach treks from Sydney & eating here from now on.

It's part of a bustling busy big pub - noisy, queues everywhere, but fun.And the meals are big!And tasty.It ain't gourmet but it's value for money.There's huge outdoor areas, playground for the littlies, and several large indoor areas.Nice staff too.We ate there more than once (we were staying next door).Wish they had a better selection of beers though - I didn't find one to my taste.

We went here for lunch today after a morning at the beach and having heard good things. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips and my partner orders a steak. Service was very slow and not all that friendly. My fish and chips was awful- oil dripping off the fish and in a puddle on the plate, a heap dry cabbage and some chips, these were at least edible. My partners steak- ordered medium- came well done but aside from that was ok. I have a feeling that we may have come on a bad day and I have high hopes that our next visit will be an improvement. I'll consider giving it one more go- the atmosphere is quite nice so hopefully they can step it up!

Have been meaning to try this for ages, it's very popular, but I was disappointed with the service and the food. Huge portions of meat with minimal accompaniments
