Bidra med feedbackFood: The menu is surprisingly diverse for a pub in such a small town, with generous portions and consistently good quality. The prices are reasonable, although they have gone up recently. There is a daily special and a good effort to keep the menu varied and accommodate special requests, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. Wednesday night, with its popular special of pierogies and chicken wings, accompanied by a wide selection of dipping sauces, is a favorite among diners. Atmosphere: One of the pub's strong points is its welcoming environment. Regardless of who was working that day, we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality. The pub is housed in a historic building, which exudes charm, especially during the Christmas season. A cozy gas fireplace in the center adds to the ambiance, making it a comfortable spot even on windy nights. Despite the constant opening and closing of doors, the building is surprisingly well-insulated. A quiet lounge area on the opposite side of the fireplace is a hidden gem. Service: Outstanding. The staff, including waitresses who often also serve as bartenders, is attentive and friendly. The service is consistently prompt and efficient, with all the staff being genuinely good people.
Have been going here for 20 years used to be a great place. The food has gone to the dogs and prices are through the roof. Cost us $80.00 for 2 burgers and two drinks. And the worst small house salad ever made. Won't be back. Dont waste your money.
We enjoy stopping at this pub when we're out for a day trip on the motorcycle. Friendly service and huge portions. Sandwich and fries were both very good. Cold beer and we were on the road again.
When riding through Falkland, this pub is a place I invariably stop at for a beer and or a quick bite. The food is your average pub grub (not bad just basic), the selection of drinks is decent and almost always comes with friendly service. On summer days there are usually plenty of bikes parked out front and back; opportunities to have conversations with like minded enthusiasts. Bernd Williams Lake, BC
Stopped by with wifey on Monday for dinner had the steak special it was very good but noticed that drink prices are some of the highest I've paid in B.C. Not sure what's going on in Falkland. But 6 bucks for a bottle of beer is a little out there.
