Rise N Shine - Fanwood

Food is standard diner food; they have a large menu, lots to choose from. I will say the wait staff is very friendly, I actually felt welcome, smile and all. I didn't get asked for a refill and no check in while I was eating so that's disappointing. The quality of the food was average, as you would expect from a large menu and the general decline in all restaurant food unfortunately. Order took a bit to get delivered to the table but the portions were large and they were able to accommodate substitutions with no questions asked. Would I go back, probably, after I try other places in the area. The key is really finding a place with decent food, check, decent prices, check, and a place you actually feel welcome, check. So, four stars!

Love this place enjoyed it! The food is good hot! Waiters were attentive.

If you're looking for a quick in and out breakfast this place is great the bacon is not as good it's a bit soggy, but you can't go wrong with eggs and toast and corned beef hash! Oh and the coffee is just right!

I haven't been there in a few years, and they are still great, and the food is still fresh and delicious.

All meals I had were very cheap and delicious. They also offered great options on their lunch specialties, my favorite is the Greek salad that (for a lunch special) You will be served a fairly large portion, you will just love it.
