Bidra med feedbackWasabi is literally my favorite place in Fargo. Over the last 10 years my husband and I have enjoyed everything here and called the owners family. We saw Wasabi Drunken Noodle and Slurp under one roof before they moved from NP Ave to where they are now in Broadway Square. I have always had them make my own roll, and they have always called it the “Elma Roll” and my kids always get a kick out of it. The family is absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for quality sushi, noodles or pho go to one of these 3 establishments. You will not be disappointed! Elma Roll Tempura Salmon with asparagus and cream cheese topped with sweet eel sauce spicy Mayo. Update: 10/29/21 Still the best sushi spot in town.
I’m obsessed with this place. The sushi is amazing, the price is perfect, and the staff is great. I’ve had the same server every time and he is so incredibly sweet. I prefer Wasabi over any other sushi restaurant in the area!
Pretty damn good food, if it wasn't the for the price it would have been 5 stars! 50 for 2 meals, tip, and 2 beers and is a walkthrough food order like subways is a little too much to. The tip is the main thing. Tipping when you have to walk through a line to order your food and clear your own table does not seem appropriate. I always tip if it's available but only tip a few bucks for things like this unless it's expected which this place was so I tipped 20% which should not be the case unless they are waiting on your table. If the cooks and line workers behind the counter are not making enough then that is on the restaurant to start paying them better. I do not know anything about how this place treats its staff but everybody was friendly there.
The Poké bowls that they serve there are SUPER delicious! It's kind of like having sushi, except unwrapped and served in a bowl. They're surprisingly filling, but a little on the spendy side. That aside, the staff are friendly and do a good job at upselling, and the front area is always clean when I go. Since this place doubles as an eat-in restaurant, I wish (from a business prospective) that they put more emphasis on the restaurant side. When you first walk through the door, it's hard to tell that there's an actual restaurant inside of there as well. The place where they sell the poké bowls outshines the restaurant entrance even though it's right there in front of you when you walk in. Anyhow, as for the poké bowl side, I'd recommend
OMG!! Blown away by the quality of their sushi! Also the edamame was great, with a spin compared to usual ones! They have combos, like a regular and a special roll for just 17 usd! Try this place if you are in downtown Fargo!
