Bidra med feedbackWe absolutely loved our dinner at Hugo’s! It was my first time there! My husband put the security system in Hugo’s and while he was there he tried the Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger with fries and loved it. I love to cook at home and I am so picky about eating out. But I was so impressed with Hugo’s burger and fries! My husband and I both got the Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger. I ordered mine medium well and the beef patty was perfect! Just a little pink. Just like I like it! It was tender, juicy, and the perfect meat to bun ratio. The bun tasted like it was toasted in the beef fond. Which I love! The edges were crispy and the center was so soft and fresh. There was a good bit of bacon on it and it was cooked to the perfect crispness. The fries........Oh my goodness. The French fries tasted like the ones my momma used to cut fresh and fry in a cast iron skillet. Soooooo great. Soooooo down home. We ordered one basket of fries and it was plenty for 5 people. My kiddos ordered bacon Swiss burgers and a BLT. They were all very pleased. My oldest son said it was the best burger he had ever eaten. The BLT was piled high with bacon! My baby boy loved that. For dessert we ordered about every crepe on the menu. We all shared and the boys favorite was the mint ice cream crepe. Mine was the strawberry. I loved the atmosphere being busy and loud. And I love that it was down in a basement, it was just really cool. The staff were all attentive and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
The staff seated us in a timely manner and were genuinely friendly. The server took our order which included the Derek Special, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and the Crepe Cannelloni. Our food arrived without much wait and was very good! The atmosphere is really cool because it’s rather eclectic. The prices are what you would expect from a neighborhood bar and grill. I’ve lived in Dallas, Houston, and Little Rock, but Hugo’s is at the top of my list of cool places to eat. Great job!
When you walk in the smell hits you like a ton of bricks. It’s amazing! The burger and fries were to die for. And I love the decor. The crowd was diverse and friendly.
Killer food,, cool atmosphere, great waitress! We recommend the black and blue chicken sandwich.
Once upon a time, a man named Hugo opened a hamburger restaurant in Fayetteville. During quiet moments, he would teach his granddaughter to play the piano. In gratitude, she painted a portrait of him. Unfortunately, a kitchen fire eventually destroyed Hugo's establishment. The only items salvaged were the piano, which he carried out on his back, and the portrait. As we enjoyed our fries, Hugo shared this story with us. Just as we turned to admire the painting, he vanished. When we asked the waitress where Hugo had gone, she looked puzzled and informed us that Hugo had passed away 15 years ago.
