The Ship Inn - Fenland

I have been coming to this place regularly since just before my wife and I had our wedding reception here over six years ago. The staff are always friendly and the beer is consistently good. The tables are clean, the restroom is well-maintained, and the location is perfect. Thank you to the wonderful pub and team.

This establishment is a fantastic spot for a night out. The only downside is that meals are not available, and the space is small. However, it is a pleasant pub to visit.

We went to this restaurant for Sunday roast and it was very enjoyable. Even our two dogs enjoyed their beef dinner in the beer garden.

Lovely old thatched pub next to the river with orignal beams and bags of atmosphere. Full of happy, comfortable people eating anything from a traditional full english to an eggs benedict or avocado on toast. Even a vegan breakfast available. Portions are plentiful but not horribly excessive. The produce is mainly locally sourced (if not completely) with tasty local butcher's sausages (I always check the origin of meat). Fried bread was wonderful. Tea great quality brand and tasty not insipid water. Nicely presented in a mug and saucer. Service friendly but not crowding.

Situated right beside the canal, this is the epitome of a locals bar no hostility just but friends meeting up for a drink, Good service and excellent ales. If you're lucky, you might be able to grab a seat outside overlooking the canal
