Ardhowen Cafe - Fermanagh

Three of us stopped on Tuesday, 10th May at 3 p.m., as we wanted coffee etc. in enniskillen somewhere with a view of the laugh. we were so disappointed to find the caffe closed, despite the announcement at the door that said. it was open to 4.00 doesn't know if this happens often, but surely this is not good for the business.

My wife and I called in the Ardowen café last week before they left enniskillen to drive home. the best decision ever! great coffee, wonderful scones and tablet bakeries and very friendly staff. we sat near the window that looked over the erne in magnificent...winter scene. in any case on our list for the next visit in fermanagh.

This place was recommended by local friends and it lived up to expectations. eating was very good, my salad was mainly considerable and excellent without the debt. they thought the same thing. I would go back here and great to have a decent parking lot and the restaurant had a great view of the lough. we were recommended to book and the phone system was not great and it has made us some try to get a brilliant sophie that confirms our booking on the phone. overall highly recommended.

The location of this restaurant is stunning. it overlooks lough erne and has a bow tie. eating is of good quality and sufficient for lunch or snack. to my knowledge it does not offer to eat at night - only drinks in performance nights.

My wife and i occasionally go to Belfast and pass by, this time popped in for coffee and scones, we were cross with ourselves for not stopping before as the freshly made scones were the best we have ever eaten, we will call in again
