The Surf - Fernandina Beach

The Surf has so many things going for it, but it just falls shortThe atmosphere is really good, but the good just misses.

Minimal options here. veggie burger was decent, but comes with feta, taziki and on a brioche roll, so order accordingly. noodle dish is available without meat, but was really salty. edemame was good.

We have here to eat and the few vegan options that they have quite good. the edamame appetizer was served in a spicy teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds and was surprisingly very good. we also had the “veggie burger” that was quite just a Portobello sandwich with a cabbage. the menu also said avocado, but it didn't come on. the sandwich and the pommes were good, but nothing special. they also have a small caffe that had several vegan smoothies and açaí dishes on the menu, but we did not try them out.

The description saw that they served beyond burgers. that is no longer available. I inquired about jackfruit tacos and was told that it was so ordered. When they came out, I could say that there was no jackfruit. taco had a great taste, but was mainly yellow paprika, ananas, with swirling and seasoning over eisberg salat. sauce was very good, but not exceptionally filled yet they were actually jackfruit. I would go back for the drinks and lay, but that was only moderate.
