Artemisia Vermuteria - FERRARA

This is a real find. A beautiful little bar tucked away in a quiet cobbled back street but only about 50 metres from the north entrance to the Castle Estense . They specialise in their own vermouth blends, but do standard wine beer and spirits also. No food. Call by for an interesting pre dinner aperitif or an after dinner nightcap. Run by a lovely friendly family, this place deserves to succeed.

The idea itself is good and original. it took us a place to degote something different in a city like Ferrara, where to propose something new is always a sacrilege. sin that there is little space inside, which in covid time is not exactly ideal. the ordered cocktails were very good but as an aperitif it was a little bit scarce, just a couple of taralli and two olives. not that we expected a dinner, but a little more so surely you could.

A beautiful evening pre dinner... tasting something new and pleasant. very courteous managers. for me positive experience...and cmq to try.
