We were told that rice and beans was the ideal and essential accompaniment to the Fried Fish dish, we called to make the reservation and they didn't know if they would have said rice! So we only made the reservation after we were confirmed with rice and beans as a side dish. We enjoyed fried bass and pike fillets, soaked in a braised sauce and strips of raw garlic, a specialty that I believe did not meet our expectations, but even worse, the rice and beans failed to prove itself as a specialty! The place is worth a visit! But the Barqueiro's service and the specialties presented are not up to par.
