Paper towel rolls sitting on sink instead of in paper towel dispenser. Opted not to get food due to store being dirty. Employees just standing behind counter doing nothing, this was a Sunday morning and the store wasn’t busy.
Good selection of snacks. Plenty of parking and clean bathroom
Review of Sheetz: The music playing was your typical American gas station rock—perhaps a little Journey? I couldn't tell if it was just the exhaustion from driving too long that had me disoriented or if I was actually singing along in my mind while distracted. Either way, it felt like this Sheetz had a different vibe. We wandered through the store in a zombie-like daze, desperate for restrooms. Eventually, we had to ask a staff member for directions. She was kind and looked at us with a hint of pity as two guys shuffled awkwardly, trying to hold it in, toward the bathrooms located at the back side of the store. Fortunately, the gas pumps weren’t too crowded, and I noticed that the further we got from Pennsylvania, the fewer PA chips were available.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I was traveling from Indy to Virginia Beach and was thrilled to spot a Sheetz. There's one near my mom's house in Maryland that I absolutely love. I can't express how let down I was this time. The burger I received was the worst I've ever had—definitely not fresh. It seemed like it had been sitting around for hours and was just slapped onto a cold bun. I should have asked for a refund, but instead, I ended up throwing half of it away. I will never eat here again (and probably avoid any other Sheetz as well). AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
I visited Sheetz in Fishersville, VA, hoping to grab some food. My daughter loves their cheese pizza, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. Instead, she opted for a pack of two cheeseburger sliders and some fries. I ordered a three-pack of cheeseburger sliders and mozzarella sticks. After waiting for our food, we took it home, only to discover that none of the sliders came in buns; they were wrapped in tortilla shells instead. Everything else about the burgers was as we ordered, so we were quite disappointed. If there are no buns available, it would be nice for them to inform customers. Then, I bit into the mozzarella sticks, only to find they were the spicy variety, which I don't enjoy at all. At least the fries were correct, but the rest of the order was a letdown. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.
