What a dream come true when an entrepreneur has a vision! Great coffee, good service, and richards in Springfield, Illinois. Make sure to take some back east with you.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I have visited several times since it opened and found the coffee to be good and the staff to be knowledgeable and courteous. However, one female staff member did not seem to want to be there. She did not smile and seemed unsure of what they had in stock. When I inquired about the whiskey barrel aged coffee, she said they did not have it in their inventory. This was surprising to me, especially since they roast their own coffee on site. I ordered a Honduran coffee with raw sugar, but she informed me afterwards that they were out of raw sugar. I suggest finding someone who is more attentive to both the coffee and the customers.

My husband and I stopped by Matador for some ice cream drinks and a bagel before heading out for the day. The service was excellent, the drinks were large, and the bagel was toasted with plenty of cream cheese. A very inviting coffee shop.

I enjoyed my short visit in this coffee shop. his unique and the heart who helped me was super nice and accommodating. I was the only person there and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. I want to buy espress beans when I'm in flag. it is a welcoming and fun environment.

Getting to this coffee shop can be tricky at times due to traffic. When open, the coffee and service has been good. It is significantly frustrating to navigate traffic only to find that the booth is closed and you can't tell unless you drive in. And parking is so limited it makes it difficult to visit. I typically avoid visiting here unless I am sure that they are open and able to help me. Fortunately there is another place down the road that is more consistent and convenient.
