Sunrise Drive-in - Florence

I gave one star due to extremely poor customer service over the phone by Vickie. When I asked to speak with the owner, Vickie hung up on me. When I called back, the owner made the excuse that they were very busy. We don't order out often, but I still expect my order to be accurate. I can always take my business elsewhere. I was completely blown away by this restaurant. In addition to a salad, the dinner entree came with a side of fries and onion rings. I opted for the mushroom Swiss hamburger steak dinner, which also came with a roll. The portion was so generous that I struggled to finish it all, but it was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to dine here again later this week! Service was exceptional and I enjoyed a lovely lunch.

I came for a late lunch and ordered a double cheeseburger and onion rings. I ate inside and it was uncomfortably hot with flies buzzing around. When I went to pay, I saw the overweight cook handling raw hamburger meat and shaping patties with his bare hands, which goes against DHEC guidelines. This resulted in contaminated food and I will not be returning. Despite this, the service was good.
