Bistro 516 - Floriana

It was disappointing to be honest. We thought it would be a cut above the rest as it was more expensive and in a nice area of Valletta but I ordered a whiskey sour and just got sour, so I put another whiskey in it but waste of money, quick. Staff were nice, food was average and drinks as described, disappointing..

Food is excellent, though, waiting time of 2 hours 20 minutes from the time we placed an order to have the main course delivered. The starter was delivered within 15 minutes. Other than that, the food was excellent. The air conditioner needs to be set at a lower temperature as the area was a bit uncomfortable with the heat. We had advised of this, but, nothing was done. Cocktails were good as well.

Pasta was good. The prices were above average but since it is a waterfront resto, it is expected. Service was okay. It took them some time to accommodate us even though there were only a few customers during that time. Gave them a 4 for service and 4 for food. The atmosphere in the al fresco area is very great though

What a great experience. In the top 2 for gluten free options across 4 continents. Large portions, reasonably priced with great service and a really neat location. The home made taste and feel that people look for.

We arrived at 8 pm pm, I ordered my drink around 8.30pm, I received the drink around 10pm with my meal and I was asking many times to the rude waiter about my drink. The answer from the waiter was like annoying, tired and rude. 5 of us had same experience So my first and last time in this rude place. We paid without having read the bill, tot wrong, and I got a over charge for extra drink that I didn’t receive (the second drink. What is it good customer service? Good bye
