Bidra med feedbackTamarindos Is located in Flourtown, tucked away in the burbs of Montgomery County. In my recent experience, there was a pleasant one I had met up with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. They were able to accommodate our party of nine outdoors. The night that we went, it was one of the coldest days in October in the low 50s. That night they had plenty of heat lamps outside to keep us warm as well as some live music for entertainment. They’re able to give us an appetizer platter to accommodate for such a large group with the assortment of different dishes. I was recommended the octopus for the adventurous people. It was pretty good had a nice smoky and flavorful taste. One of the main attractions of this place are their free margaritas. Despite being free they were very good margaritas and very plentiful. These are the pros of our experience. Some of the cons if you are not in a party of at least six you cannot make a reservation and expect long waits from our experience. They were on point with refilling our drinks and getting our appetizers out within the first half hour however, our main entrée didn’t come for well over one hour after our appetizers had already been out. They were very busy and we were a rather large party but it was a very long wait. Conclusion, I had a fantastic time there for my birthday the drinks were plentiful all the company was great they were very accommodating with bringing three heat lamps over to us at one point the food was rather good despite the way and they were very friendly they had music to entertain, and it was fun times all around.
I've been a customer since the days of Skippack Pike. Fernando has a wonderful business which provides outstanding service. The entrees are fresh and cooked to order. The food is always seasoned well. The margaritas are always free! If you want consistent good Mexican food. Here is where you're guaranteed to find it. I wish the steak quasidillas were still on the menu. They were my favorite appetizer!
This place absolutely rocked mine and my boyfriend’s world! The food was delicious, so full of flavor and the margaritas were GOOD, they sneak up on you. Don’t even get me started on the dessert! Service was fantastic, they are the most friendly people I’ve ever met and it felt like I was at the patio of my own home. Such a vibe !! I will absolutely come back
Amazing food!! Staff is very friendly and kind. Quick service!
Food was nasty and portions small. Scallop ceviche was NOT ceviche or multiple scallops. Was 1 scallop thinly sliced on some greens with sliced onions amd mangos.VERY disappointing. Shrimp.tacos had burnt pieces of either what was left on the pan or another dish. Also very disappointing. Shrimo.were on smaller side. Covered w a bunch of toppings to make seem like more than what is. Comes w side of rice and beans. Barely any beans and rice was not typical Mexixan rice. Not a lot of flavor. Only ate a few bites. Not worth the calories. Beans couldve used more liquid. Dry. At $21 EXTREMELY overpriced. And not very flavorful. They have chicken tacos on the appetizer menu BUT waiter said they were fried whole and then served. And cant substitute chicken for other meats. Crab quesadilla very small esp.for what charge. Very cheesy. Nit bad but not wow either. Friend had chopped steak which was undercooked for her liking so she didnt really eat. Other friend had ribeye which looked really good. $43. Asked waiter for a napkin, never brought it ...went and retrieved from another table. Wont serve free margarita until place orders and only get a free margarita with an entree order. Only classic. No flavors. BYOB which should be more prominently highlighted in advertisements and when people call to make reservations. Wouldve been nice to know to better plan for dinner. Parking lot not very big. Was pretty full although restaurant was not. Outdoor and indoor seating. Building surrounded by pretty sunflowers.
