Bidra med feedbackIndian food is pretty good here. I know the other reviews, but I don't think it was the best I had. I think the Samosas in India-Bazaar are tastier than those here. Portions are good. The lamb curry was very good, but I have more meat to do. The chicken jafrezi was good even though I thought there were more vegetables in the curry, but there are only peppers and onions. The tikka masala was good, but a little sweet tasting. I've never tasted so sweet. I usually don't like it sweet, but it was okay. I'll say we took the left home and tasted better the next day. Naan wasn't very good. It wasn't fluffy. It didn't taste like it was made with yogurt. The Roti was okay, but not remarkable. The restaurant was not busy on a Saturday that was surprising. I noticed the take-out was super busy. I think many people like this place. It didn't praise me, but it was pretty good overall.
True Neighborhood Gem! Recipes and favor is just like it should be. All dishes we asked were delicious, excellent presentation and good portions. Local business like this with great food need our support, you will love this place. Fast, kind and excellent service.
Vegetarians beware. Wife and I previously had a good experience that was ruined by this bad experience... quickly. Order: Butter Chicken and Vegetable Biryani (which should be renamed to potato biryani Issue: Bones in everything... even the vegetable biryani. At first I thought some of it was some sort of spice/flavoring/seed, but my wife suddenly pulled out a bone from her biryani. We tried to eat through what we could be ultimately threw away the food and called the restaurant who insisted we bring back the food so the kitchen look at it. The assured us the biryani is cooked separately yet... there was definitely bones in there. (Check the picture of the biryani for one long bone. We did not accept the offer to go out of our way to bring the food back so they can investigate and check. Quite honestly that 's a bit gross, and the fact I am going out of my way to call and inform them of this is ludicrous. Maybe someone in the past scammed them, but we even offered to show the pictures and we didn 't even mention compensation. Due to this, we will no longer eat here we cannot trust that quality of the food and if you are vegetarian I highly suggest you see what the resolution of this is. If you indeed want to reach out to me in regards to this feel free to refund the ID number on that receipt and post an email where I can reach out to you. However, if you try and refute by stating we offered for you to bring back the food. Then I do not believe we have any reason to communicate and this review will remain. The wife and I will have to search for a new Indian cuisine place in Flower Mound.
I LOVE this place, first time here and first time really actually eating Indian food and I couldn't even describe how satisfied my mouth, my stomach, and my feelings are. Lol I'm sitting in here now and couldn't wait to leave a review. Spice levels are exactly what they say they are, everything is fresh and I couldn't ask for a better experience eating. We had Tomato Soup and Samosas(not pictured) to start, and we are eating the chicken chettinadu and butter chicken with garlic Naan and roti. You have to try the marsala tea. Hell. Yes.
Finally visited and it was fantastic! Best Indian food in Flower Mound. Big menu with all the favorites and some new items as well. Lamb AND goat! Super friendly and helpful staff. We got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Korma, which were both delicious. We will be back.
