Sombra Mexican Kitchen - Flowood

Food was reasonable inexpensive, and very large portions. Plenty of seating available both inside and out, even though the place was hopping. Service was good, and the food was great.

First time eating here, but was highly recommended. If you like Tex-Mex then Sombra is the place for you. It was busy, Sunday lunch crowd, but we were sat within 10 minutes. Our waitress was quick and friendly. Now to the food. The salsa is thick and chunky, not pureed and thin (I prefer the pureed option) but is was very good. The queso was good as well, also had chunks of peppers in it. The chips were perfect, seasoned and crispy. I had a burrito bowl which was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we look forward to returning.

Sombra was a great experience. The food was amazing and the House margarita was delicious and strong. It has patio seating for outdoor dining. Yes, a face mask is required. I will definitely come back!

2 bedtime in this place and just as big as the first time. Love the food the decor and the location . Fantastic Magaritas!!!! The food is the bomb and not a loud place where you can actually entertain a dinner... I'm looking forward to my next visit. I live in FL, but when I go to the area of Rennisance, this is one of my most important places to go for dinner or lunch!!!

Absolutely the best Mexican food!!! Definitely worth the drive from Brookhaven!!!
