Bidra med feedbackAuthentic Taiwanese cuisine. The service was very attentive. Unlike many other restaurants in Flushing, the seating here is comfortable. The pork chop over rice was flavorful, accompanied by a soy sauce egg and stir-fried cabbage, though the cabbage could have used more flavor and was somewhat average. The hot sweet soy soup was enjoyable. The deep-fried sticks were good, lacking any off-putting odor but a bit greasy. The pastry was tasty. The yellow cloth potstickers were quite hearty, each filled with several leaves of yellow cloth. However, the crispy intestines were lacking in flavor and required the salt and pepper served on the side for seasoning. Each table has a bowl of preserved cabbage, which is standard in Taiwanese noodle shops and complements various noodle dishes well. I'd love to return to try their noodles. Unfortunately, they don’t serve stinky tofu here, which could be why they don't offer it, as not everyone appreciates its strong odor. The restaurant is located on an upper level above the Best Western Hotel lobby. Many Taiwanese restaurants in the area have come and gone, and those that remain often lack authenticity. For genuinely authentic Taiwanese food, this place is highly recommended.
This restaurant is situated in the lobby of a hotel and offers a variety of Taiwanese dishes. The fried popcorn chicken was delicious and came in generous portions. The fried pork cutlet with rice was well-prepared and satisfying. However, the beef noodle soup was disappointing; the beef itself lacked flavor, though everything else on the plate was quite good. The oyster pancake seemed to have been boiled, and it was served with an unexpected and odd tomato sauce. The portion sizes and prices are reasonable, but the restaurant only accepts cash. The bathroom facilities are quite basic. Additionally, while we were dining, a nearby group had a loud legal meeting at another table, which was distracting and annoying.
This authentic Taiwanese restaurant is well-known for its breakfast and lunch offerings. I especially enjoy the rice rolls filled with crispy roasted dough. Their beef noodles are also quite famous. Additionally, the tofu and chicken rolls are delicious. I feel fortunate to live nearby!
Hidden GEM . Friendly smile staff, great authentic Taiwanese cuisine! Large part and reasonable price. Order: Fried leek dumpling, beef stew and Renommee noodle, roasted chicken gugget over rice, roasted pork on rice, Taiwanese appetizer (beef cure, beef, pork ear Leek dumpling is usually pan roasted outside, can be quite oily. This is really deep fired, crunchy outside, but not oily. Bean Curd is on the hard side in the appetizer combo. One thing to note: The place only accepts cash for now.
Really decent Taiwanese restaurant. Located within a hotel this discreet eatery offers traditional Taiwanese snacks and dim sum. Cant go wrong with the scallion pancakes wrapped in egg. Their beef noodles are legitimate and very tasty. The staff are friendly but service is a bit slow. Cant rush quality food though. I will gladly come back anytime for some delicious food from this establishment.
