Pizza Maru - FLUSHING

My friends and I came here to eat after work. The waiting staff was pleasant, helpful with the menu, and attentive. We ordered a pitcher of Sapporo beer and the price was reasonable. The wings came out quickly and were delicious. The pizza was absolutely amazing! The pizza crust was soft and crisp... it was the right consistency. (The pizza was still amazing the next day after the microwave! I definitely recommend Pizza Maru.

Didn't expect much of this place, but I was very happy. Mostly for a court. Your honey mustard wings. The pizza is also good, but the wings left the impression.

Ordered hawaiian long bread, combination pizza, and Spicy seafood rice cake. Yum, more than enough for two people.

Whenever my friends and family dine here, we typically opt for the set menus because they include a variety of dishes, which makes it easier for those of us who are indecisive about what to order. Here’s what we enjoyed during our most recent visit: **Feast of the Family: $60.95** - **Big Classic Pizza:** We chose the Bacon Potato Pizza. My little brother jokingly remarked that the bacon wasn’t crispy enough for his taste, referring to it as 'mere pigs.' The potato topping consisted of just slices of potato on the pizza. Overall, it was very filling and cheesy. You can upgrade from a classic to a premium pizza for an additional $4. - **Big Chicken with One Sauce:** This featured half-fried chicken served with garlic chili sauce. Unfortunately, it was quite dry, and our previous visits offered better chicken options. - **Shrimp Bacon Pasta:** This is my brother's favorite dish. - **House Salad:** Sweet and adorned with cranberries, we enjoyed the dressing as well. - **Honey Cream Fries:** These fries are always a crowd-pleaser and never fail to satisfy. They are a must-try at Pizza Maru! **Set D: $24.95** - **Small Classic Pizza:** This set includes a personal-sized pizza, making the slices quite small and cute. The pizza itself was unremarkable. - **Little Chicken with One Sauce:** The crispy fried chicken was tender and juicy, a far superior choice compared to the dry chicken from the big chicken dish. - **House Salad or Fries:** We opted for Parmesan Fries, which came generously topped with parmesan. The Honey Cream Fries were so popular at our table that we barely touched these. Set A is advertised to serve 3-4 people, but we mistakenly thought we could feed two with Set D. As a result, we ended up with a whole pizza, a bottle of fries, and about 10 wings left over after our meal, nearly finishing the entire Set D. We all arrived hungry and left satiated. The next day, we were able to enjoy some cake, as Paris Baguette is conveniently located right next to Pizza Maru. They allow you to bring in outside cakes without any extra charge, and they turn the music up to celebrate birthdays, which adds to the festive atmosphere. Pizza Maru is consistently a delightful and spacious venue for dining and celebration, and we keep coming back for the delicious dishes. Plus, it's located in the same parking lot as H Mart, making it even more convenient!

I chose to have dinner at this restaurant with friends and family. The pizza is fantastic and made fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable. The restroom is clean and quite basic. They also have a bar where you can order additional beverages.
