Bidra med feedbackI pre-ordered a cake for a 50th birthday and provided specific instructions. Unfortunately, the bakery failed to follow these instructions. The cake had poor handwriting and was written in the wrong color. The word "Birthday" was not even spelled correctly, which was disappointing. Additionally, when I went to pick up my order, the worker did not greet me, say a single word, and seemed to dislike his job. The management of this TLJ location on Union Street should reconsider their staff as it is creating a very poor customer experience. I typically enjoy TLJ cakes, but this experience with pre-ordering a cake fell far below my expectations.
Food is fine. Staff needs more training or be fired. Rude and unprofessional, especially the spanish cashiers. The two girls were nice to white guys. But they show me attitudes, maybe they thought that I don’t know or speak English. They turned to normal face after I asked them questions in English. Better not to hire staff who is racist.
It had been a while since I last visited TLJ for cake, but I was lucky to have my cake drought broken by the delicious earl grey latte cloud cake. The taste was addictive and as soon as the strong flavor of earl grey hit, I couldn't wait to have a second slice. This cake is perfect for tea lovers and those looking to impress, with its impressive layers. I also tried some of their pastries, including the classic Jumbo Twist Donut, light and fluffy with a sugary coating. The Kimchi Croquette was a fried delight, like a deep-fried kimchi dumpling. The Yuzu Pie was buttery and refreshing, with sweet yuzu jam in a flaky crust topped with crystallized sugar. Overall, a delicious experience at TLJ.
What’s the point of opening at 7 AM when there’s nothing ready? The manager needs to get it together.Edit: while checking out, the girl at the register squished all my breads and threw them in the bag and as a finale threw the receipt in my face. What kind of business are you running here Mr. KT Kim?
They gave me a cake that’s going to expire the next day. I saw the cashier ripping the stickers off and knew something was up. The cake isn’t even centered. I paid 42 for the cake don’t come here spend the 42 at Paris baguette and get a better cake.
