Manderes - Folsom

This is a laid-back spot where people gather for lunch and maybe some drinks. I tried the special: rare red Ahi tuna served on a green salad with sesame ginger dressing, and it was quite good. The restaurant has a somewhat dim atmosphere, but it wasn't too noisy for a Wednesday lunch. I had a business dinner there, and while it felt a bit too casual for that, it might work if you already have a good rapport with your dining companion.

We’ve dined here multiple times and have consistently enjoyed the food. I’ve tried the fish, chicken, and beef, and all were well-prepared. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively with cheerful customers. They also offer a nice selection of beer and wine.

I've always had a wonderful experience at Manderes over the years. Whether I'm enjoying a date night, having lunch with friends, or just stopping by for appetizers and drinks, it never disappoints. The atmosphere is lovely, and they offer a great variety of beers. The sandwiches are amazing, and the ribs are absolutely fantastic. What more could you ask for?

Really loved the appetizers we order! The filled mushroom was our favorite. One of the best garlic potatoes we've ever had. The rosemary was a little too much for our pleasure. Every bite tasted like it and got overwhelming after a while

We came here for the first time tonight. I was honestly fully prepared to be disappointed, not because of reviews, because they all seemed to be great, just simply because a lot of our usual favorite spots have been going downhill lately and we've been disappointed at some other spots we've been to. I'm giving it 3 stars, because the space overall is a bit on the cozy side, because of the space, or lack there of, the volume was quite loud. I couldn't even hold a conversation with my family of 3. At first the service was good to, but once our meals arrived, our waitress disappeared until after we'd finished our food. As far as the food goes, I got the steak and risotto and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed his meal enough, aswell. The price was very reasonable. Our bill was only 70$ which shocked me because we've been to other places with similar menus and paid over 100 for the 3 of us. I can say it is highly we will be back.
