It is known that the Teatro Regio di Parma is one of the absolute temples of opera. But, with due proportions, also the Gran Caffè del Teatro, set in the theatre and inaugurated in 1829 on project of architect Nicola Bettoli, has become a small, but tasty, attraction. Elegant, with staff prepared and caring, invites the theater to citizens as if it were a first Verdiana. There are people, in Parma (and among these many friends of mine) who do not start the day seza breakfast at the Gran Caffè del Teatro. Ten and praise.

In times of restriction Covid all restaurants on Sunday are booked so we opted for this very nice coffee. Tables and impeccable service. Excellent ham but also ravioli. Really nice experience

Under the look of G. Verdi we enjoyed a great fast lunch based on cured meats and ricotta ravioli and melted butter herbs. Nice place in the center, friendly and very clean staff.
