Foresters Arms - Fordingbridge

Five of us ordered beer-battered fish and chips after seeing it on the online menu. When it arrived, the fish looked different (dark brown), so I immediately pointed this out to the waitress. She explained that it was because it had gluten-free breadcrumbs. I mentioned that we did not order gluten-free and wanted the beer-battered cod we saw online. Unfortunately, we were informed that it was not available. The fish was not what we expected and we were disappointed. Due to the attitude of the staff, we decided to remove the tip that had already been added to the bill. While we were leaving without ordering dessert, we were sarcastically wished a Merry Christmas. We will not be returning to this restaurant or recommending it to others.

We had a wonderful table by the fireplace with friendly service from the server. The food was delicious and priced at £10-20 per person. We would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The average price per person ranges from £30 to £40. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Beef Burger and Fish and Chips.
