El Michoacan Mexican - Forest City

Thought it was pretty good when I went a couple of other times but very loud. Went a 3rd time recently and it was RIDICULOUSLY loud. This seems to be a popular choice for people who have loud obnoxious children with parents who drank too much to notice.

The waitress was short tempered and seemed un entertained with my wife and I. Between rolling her eyes and poping her gum she got our orders. I ordered two sopes one lingua and one beef. When they brought them out they were floating in grease and refried beans barley had any beef or lingua on them mostly brown shred lettuce and refried beans. Was so disgusting I tried one bit and had to go right to bathroom. I told waitress I couldn’t eat with that much beans and grease on it she brought frown more while I was in bathroom and got smart with my wife saying I was gonna have to pay for all those sopes. The owner came out super smug smiling and told us to leave wouldn’t even let us pay. I guess the truth hurts I’m sure at one time the food here was good but now it’s definitely worse Mexican Food in county you’d be better off to go by Taco Bell. I went to go eat with my family, everything was fine, the service was okay, our server took down our order, but the trouble started when my the first plate of food came out 10 minutes before the rest of our food, and only when the rest of the food came out did she forget our dad's food, so by the time they finished and brung out his food, we'd already eaten, and the server hadn't checked on us for pass 25 minutes. After we got our own to-go plates because nobody was checking on us. By the time we were fed up and getting up to leaving our server finally checked up and asked how we were doing like the audacity to not check up on us until we're leaving. Anyways when we were paying the manager was checking us out, we expressed how badly our service was, and all she could say was sorry for the inconvenience, which was very upsetting because she didn't ask us why the service was bad or seem to care at all.
