Bidra med feedbackAnd Lisa = best server in Ontario. (And we came all the way from Asheville NC, 3 times Beer City USA.)
This brewpub has straightforward, tasty food, a relaxed and young "vibe" and interesting decor. Also live music on Saturdays during the summer. We enjoyed tasting a flight of the beer brewed on-site. A relaxed place to eat.
Staff were great and the new location is beautiful. Food is mid range price wise but extremely tasty and the beer is wonderful. Make a reservation as they are always busy.
Went with a group of eight people and everybody enjoyed their meals. I had their burger but instead of horse radish on it, I asked for their garlic sauce. This added to it already great taste. Not crowded on Thursday, I thin Friday, Sat and Monday will be the busy nightsI bought 4 growlers to go, unfortunately one had a piece of gum in it. KInd of sucks.
We have a cottage in the Valley so visit the two locations of this pub often. Our last visit to the Cobden location put us off as we had an indifferent server and cold fries. The vibe was not good at all that day. That was the first time we had anything negative to say about Whitewater. So we tried the Riverside pub on Saturday afternoon and I can happily report it was awesome. The waitress, Sadie, was great. Cheery, welcoming, helpful and ever vigilant. Keep her! The beer is always great - love the Farmers Daughter so much. Our burgers were huge, hot, great flavours and filling. I had the bus eater and my husband had the baby face. Their rustic wedges and aioli are just great sides too. Dessert was another great course. I had the dessert of the day - a moist and flavourful cinnamon and caramel bread pudding. It was perfect and not a bit soggy. Great flavours again. My husband was a very happy man eating the moist and delicious midnight stout brownie. Yahoo. So great to see our favourite place back on its game again.
