Mary Sue's Nashville Hot Chicken

This place is ok. A little expensive for what you get. Hubby and I both got tended combos.The positives: the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were fantastic! The ranch dressing is perfect. As a midwestern transplant we know ranch. This ranch is good. The chicken itself is REALLY good. Tender with crispy coating.The negatives: the sauce was waaaay too sweet. I got mild and there was no spice at all. And honestly there was too much sauce too. It was more like eating teriyaki wings. And the pickle tasted like a sweet pickle. That might have been because it was in the sauce when I got the take out though.I'll try again and get medium next time.

Good chicken. I like spicy, so that’s probably why the hottest sauce wasn’t too hot. Good flavor. Really enjoyed the fries and mashed potatoes. Looking forward to trying the chicken sandwich

This place is absolutely amazing , the tenders are a work of art and the desserts are amazing as well !! If you go definitely get the watermelon sweet tea it's a must !

I bet this place does a mean hot chicken. When I order somewhere new I always get mild, because I don't know if we are working on the same hotness scale. The chicken was perfectly cooked and still crispy even with the sauce. The mild sauce, unfortunately, is paprika, sugar, and tons of water with no other seasonings at all. It made my mouth sad. The chicken was well-cooked, the macaroni was rich and creamy, and the fries had layers of flavor, so I bet it's just that I ordered a sauce that isn't their signature sauce.
